For the latter, the ROM has two investment funds: The Proof of Concept Fund and the Participation Fund. You are eligible for the Proof of Concepts Fund if you own an innovative startup or scale-up that has a positive impact on the community.

Your company is in TRL 4, 5 or 6 (Technology Readiness Level) and you are looking for an investment between € 50,000 and € 250,000. This financing is mainly provided by means of a convertible loan.

The Participation Fund, on the other hand, focuses on companies that have progressed to TRL 6 or further. An investment from the Participation Fund can either be in equity or a convertible loan, ranging from € 250,000 to € 2,500,000.
